For the very first time outdoors, we invite you to a colorful, joyful celebration of multiculturalism! On the first weekend of September, let’s spend time together enjoying music from around the world, smile-filled workshops, and celebrating the diversity of Open Kraków!

Program

[ 3:00–5:00 PM ] – Let’s get to know each other: workshops, dance, music

[ 5:00–5:30 PM ] – The Kontakt Choir (Chór w Kontakcie) conducted by Wassim Ibrahim

[ 5:30–6:00 PM ] – National Reading in a multicultural edition

[ 6:00–7:00 PM ] – A musical journey to Cameroon with BLUEVEREST

[ 7:00–8:00 PM ] – Final of the competition “Kraków Ambassador of Multiculturalism A.D. 2024” - for the seventh time, we will meet the people and organizations awarded the prestigious title of “Kraków Ambassador of Multiculturalism A.D. 2024” – those who build bridges between cultures every day!

[ 8:00–9:00 PM ] – Final concert “Kraków – We Belong Here” with Joanna Słowińska & Stanisław Słowiński Quartet, joined by guests Wassim Ibrahim (Syria), Giovanny Laguado (Colombia), and Ethan Smith (South Africa).

 Starting at 3:00 PM, you can also enjoy:

Music from different continents – from Indian rhythms to the sounds of Africa

A colorful fashion show featuring traditional costumes from around the world

Performances by multicultural choirs living in Kraków

Energetic concerts by artists who have made Kraków their home

Workshop Zone | 3:00–6:00 PM

 Japanese tea ceremony

 Chinese calligraphy and traditional fans

 Outdoor yoga in English

 Face painting with traditional patterns

 Bead jewelry making

 Romani-style patchwork bags

 Turkish art of painting the Lajkonik

 Dance workshops from India and Brazil

This is an event for everyone – come with children, parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends! The more of us together, the more beautiful this multicultural celebration will be!
